Well, DB got his official approval from the Secretary of Defense yesterday for an overseas tour! His orders start on January 11, 2009, at which time he will be driving out to Albuquerque, NM for his 4-month course to learn how to fly the Pavehawk.
After that, he will go to the Air Force survival school in Washington state for three weeks where he'll be forced to eat crickets and live in the forest. Ha ha. Wish I could be a fly on the wall.
So now it's more hurry up and wait.
